I've been busy

I haven't been able to update my blog for almost 3 months. The holidays are over and I'm getting busy with my New Year's resolutions. I have been working though. I need to take some pictures. I have made several knit hats to send to the orphanage in India. I have made 4 purses that need a few finishing touches. I made a red and black necklace and earrings. I've been working on my McBride genealogy.

I have been getting some wool ready to send to have it carded. I haven't had time to get it done myself so I'll let Lynn at Spinderella's do it for me. I still have more to send to her but it isn't ready yet.

A local dog groomer is saving dog hair for me. I will blend it in with the rovings when it comes back. I'm still combing my Angora bunny. She has been very generous with her hair lately. She looks like she is three times as big as she is with her full length of hair. She will probably start shedding it again within the next month.

I made some ankle warmers. They are like leg warmers but are shorter. I used wool and they are very warm. I have some wool and dog hair rovings I am going to spin. I'll use that to make me another pair. Dog hair is about 7 times warmer than wool so they should be even better than these.

I have also been crocheting dishcloths. They are very nice. The one's that I have bought are very light weight. These have 'body' and have a texture that helps clean the dishes.

I'll try to get a few pictures of what I have done. I am working on an item for my cousin, Kim. I should have had it done but it kept getting put back over the holidays. I need to get it finished because I think she will love it.
